Samuel James is 6 months!

This little guy had a big month! He is changing so quickly, it's hard to keep up! First of all he had his very first haircut! I can't believe how much hair he has, and it was getting tangles...so that's why momma needed to cut it. Here are the pictures:

Ally was very concerned that it would hurt Samuel...she wanted to be there to comfort him. :)

The 'after'...such a handsome little baby!
Then....one day while the big kids were sleeping, I had some one on one time with my baby. The light was hitting him well, so I busted out the camera and got some pretty pictures of my blue eyed boy.

yup...this is my favorite....he should be a baby model! :) so so so cute!!!

And then Ryan woke up so I got some cute little "brother' pictures

Samuel LOVES Ryan...always laughing at whatever he does!

The other first we had this month was his first experience with baby food! He got some brown rice cereal mixed with mommy's milk...he enjoyed it!

And then here are some pictures we got of him before church one day:

I mean...really!! :)
And now for the monthly pictures....my little guy is just getting so big! Love him to pieces!

he loves to laugh!

melt my heart, sweet boy!

And then some matchy matchy brother pictures!

Ryan truly is amazing with Samuel...so sweet, patient and kind...even when he gets poked by him! :)

Then...Ally woke up and joined in on the fun!

my heart!

And she's 3!!!!

My baby girl turned 3! And...of course, we had to have a princess party! :) We had been talking about it for months and I was so excited to give her a pink and very girly party! I asked her which princess she wanted to be and she had said Princess Aurora. She hasn't ever seen sleeping beauty, but I think that she likes that the dress is pink. :) We had family and friends over to celebrate our sweet Ally and had such a great time!
Princess Ally!

everyone really enjoyed the swords!

When she was eating she kept saying; "these are all my friends!"

every present she got was amazing...she ooh'ed and ahh'ed over each one!

love this!

We had such a fantastic birthday! She is just growing by leaps and bounds. She is ALL girl. She loves anything princess, pretty and sparkly. She definitely has an opinion on what she wears (especially shoes). She loves to show daddy everything! She is her brothers little side kick and the sweetest big sister to Samuel. She loves routine and if something is out of the ordinary, she lets us know! Ally also loves to be wear the party is and makes friends very easily. She has an adoration for books and can spend hours looking at them and wanting to be read to. She also loves to color and paint and is really good at puzzles. She also loves to watch shows, particularly Curious George, Sophia the First and Doc McStuffins. She amazes me with her tenderness towards others as well with her strong will. She loves to do things 'all by herself,' and is always ready to try new things. She is still my little cuddle bug and I love to snuggle her on my lap and read with her. I truly wish I had more time in the day just to play with her because she has such a great imagination and loves to play with her dollhouse, princess castle, play kitchen and babies. She has the most beautiful blue eyes and seems to just flutter around all day. :) I just love watching her and seeing how God has created her. As much as she loves pretty things, I pray that she would treasure inward beauty and know that God has created her perfectly and that being beautiful on the inside is the most important. I am so blessed to be her momma and I treasure that. I did my annual interview with her and these were her answers:
favorite color: pink and purple
favorite snack: chocolate chips and pretzels
favorite book: Sophia the First manners book
favorite show: Curious George
best friend: Luke and Matthew
favorite activity: paint
favorite movie: Rapunzel
favorite drink: orange juice
favorite food: mac and cheese
favorite place: Matthew and Luke's house
favorite toy: Doc McStuffins toy

Happy 3rd birthday to my beautiful Ally girl. I love you more than you'll ever know and so thankful that God has given you to us. You make us laugh every day, test our parenting skills and show us that you are a leader. :) I can't wait to see all that God has for you, I know it's going to be amazing!
