18 months and 8 weeks!

The news is out! We are expecting little Ekk baby #2, and are so excited! We found out pretty early, and it was so hard for me not to tell everyone that I saw that I am pregnant again. The baby is due in March, which means that Ryan will be 25.5 months when the baby is born. It is so hard to believe that we will have 2 kiddos, and sometimes I get a bit scared and wonder if I will be able to handle it. But, other times I am so excited and full of joy that we are going to have another child and to see Ryan become a big brother. Basically, my emotions are definitely in full swing right now as I think about the future. So far, this pregnancy has been a little different than with Ryan. I am definitely tired and nauseas, but I haven't been wanting to eat, which with Ryan...I wanted to eat ALL the time! So, it has been a struggle to get passed the not wanting to eat so that I can eat and make sure that the baby is getting some food. :) I stopped feeling so sick with Ryan around 10 weeks, so I am hoping that the end is near. I have forgotten how hard it is in the beginning. I am so thankful for Jason who is so patient and willing to help out more than usual with my feeling so sick. Here I am at 8 weeks: (I showed by 10 weeks with Ry, so I am sure that it won't be any different with this one)

And then for our little guy: He is just so fun. His vocabulary really took off this month. He starting saying all sorts of animal sounds. He says the sounds of a pig, elephant, lamb, cat, cow, and dog. He also has really become animated. If I ask him if he wants a graham cracker, he does a little happy dance and says; "ooohh." He is just so funny. Here are some of my favorite pics from this month. (This will be a short blog...momma needs a nap today) :)

We spent the morning of 4th of July at the Beach...he loves to just sit and dig

Playing at Ikea...we love that place!

So excited to be a big brother!

My two loves walking on the beach

We joined a toddler music class this month. Ryan LOVES it and now always wants to play the guitar. Here are a few pics from class. :)

His favorite Aunt Heidi came to visit him. :)

He has loved this toy this month. He likes to drive.

So thankful for another month of amazing gifts. Thank you Jesus!
